LingoScroll Terms of Use

Effective October 13, 2026

These terms cover your use of LingoScroll, an app for learning Korean through short scenes. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The app

LingoScroll gives you short scenes of Korean conversation, with every line explained. We may add, change or remove scenes and features over time.

Your subscription

• LingoScroll needs a subscription. You buy it in the app, through your Apple Account.
• The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown on the purchase screen before you buy. They can differ by country.
• If you start a free trial, your subscription begins when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Your subscription renews automatically, at the same price and for the same period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged within the 24 hours before each renewal.
• You can cancel anytime in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple's terms. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

Using LingoScroll

• The scenes, audio, images and explanations in LingoScroll belong to us or to those who license them to us. While your subscription is active, you may use them in the app for your own learning.
• Please don't copy, record, share, sell or redistribute them, and don't try to get around the subscription.
• The scenes and the people in them are fictional.
• If you break these terms, we may end your access to the app.

Age

LingoScroll isn't meant for children under 13. If you're under 18, please use it with a parent's or guardian's permission.

No guarantees

We work to make the lessons accurate and the app reliable, but LingoScroll is provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that you'll reach a particular level of Korean.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using LingoScroll, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before your claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of LingoScroll. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content.

Privacy

How we handle your information is in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.
